Annual General Meeting (AGM): 2010

The 2010 Annual General Meeting will be held during the 145th Scottish Highland Gathering & Games in Pleasanton, California. The dates are September 3, 4 and 5 (Labor Day Weekend). Information about the Pleasanton Games can be found at: http://www.caledonian.org/

Twenty rooms have been reserved at the Fourpoints by Sheraton Pleasanton. Shuttles will pick up attendees and deliver folks at the gate of the games at no charge. Shuttles are also available for any destination in Pleasanton. Fourpoints Sheraton Pleasanton will also handle our Saturday night dinner in the hotel. Rooms are $ 69.00 per night plus tax. There is availability to upgrade to a mini-suite if you wish for $79.00 a night.

The AGM will be Saturday evening in the banquet rooms at the Fourpoints by Sheraton and includes dinner. AGM tickets will be $50.00. Menu choices are Chicken Marsala or London Broil. There will be a no-host bar prior to the AGM Banquet. Special dietary needs will be honored, just let Lindsey know when you make your AGM reservations.

To make a camping reservation: There are three ways of camping at the Pleasanton Games. The Caledonian Club of San Francisco offers both dry camping and full utilities. Annual General Meeting (AGM): 2009

The 2009 Annual General Meeting will be held during the New Hampshire Highland Games at Loon Mt., in Lincoln, NH. The dates are September 18, 19, and 20.

Twenty rooms have been reserved at the Beacon Resort in Lincoln, NH. Shuttle buses will pick up attendees about every 15 minutes at the Beacon and other hotels and condos and deliver folks at the gate of the games, no charge. No need to even move your personal vehicle from the hotel! The Beacon will also handle our Saturday night dinner in the Clermont Room. Rooms are $ 144.00 per night with 8% tax, the total being $155.52. That includes a continental breakfast. That price with the breakfast is for however many nights you stay. There is availability to upgrade to a suite if you wish, or a limited number to downsize to a cabin. However, the price of $99.00 for a cabin does not include the continental breakfast.

The actual AGM will be Saturday evening at the Beacon and includes Dinner. AGM tickets will be $40.00

The Clan Johnston/e in America (CJA) Council has selected the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games to be host site for the 2008 Annual General Meeting (AGM) this coming summer. These games are held at the Fergus Fairgrounds, Fergus, Ontario August 8,9, and 10 2008. For more information about the Fergus Games see their website at www.fergusscottishfestival.com.

The CJA AGM and Banquet will be held at the Holiday Inn Wellington Room, Guelph. The banquet will feature a selection of foods from a delicious buffet.

At the time of registering at the hotel, arrange for transportation pick-up, if needed, at Pearson Airport, to the hotel. Hotel will arrange and charge registration for this service.

The Clan Johnston/e in America (CJA) Council has selected the Seattle Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering to be host site for the 2007 Annual General Meeting (AGM) this coming summer. These games are held at the King County Fairgrounds, Enumclaw, Washington, July 28th & 29th, 2007. The CJA AGM and Banquet will be held at the Renton Holiday Inn Select Spruce Room. Please complete the registration form (PDF) and mail it along with your check to the CJA AGM 2007 Committee by June 1, 2007. Our banquet this year will feature a selection of foods from the renowned buffet tables of the Renton Holiday Inn Select.

Annual General Meeting: 10/21/2006 Stone Mountain, Georgia

The Clan Johnston/e in America (CJA) Council selected the Stone Mountain Highland Games & Festival (SMHG) to be host site for our 2006 Annual General Meeting (AGM) & 30th Anniversary Celebration this fall. These games are held at the Stone Mountain Park, Stone Mountain, Georgia, October 21st & 22nd, 2006.

CJA's 30th Anniversary: 2006 marks the 30th Anniversary of Clan Johnston/e in America. Make plans now to join in the celebration by attending the AGM and Banquet.

The CJA AGM and Banquet will be held at the Magnolia Manor Hotel Capital Ballroom in Tucker, Georgia on Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Please complete the registration form (PDF) and mail it along with your check to the CJA AGM 2006 Committee by October 10th, 2006. See the AGM 2006 Agenda for details regarding the evening's events.

Hotel Accommodations: A limited number of double rooms are available on October 20th, 21st and 22nd, 2006 at a special group rate of $79.00 (plus tax) at the Magnolia Manor Hotel. The hotel is located at 4156 LaVista, Tucker, GA, 30084 just minutes from Stone Mountain Park. The rates are available until September 20th. The room cost includes breakfast for two.
